Pipe Major

Thank you for visiting our site. My name is Dr. Patrick B. Hunt and I'm proud to be the Pipe Major of the Nassau County Firefighter's Pipes & Drums Band.

We are a non-competitive "street band", marching in fire department, holiday and special event parades throughout the year. The month of March is our busiest time of year, when we march in many local St. Patrick's Day parades as well as the Savannah Georgia parade. Check out the "Calendar" link for our schedule.

We are available for hire for all occasions, not just parades but weddings, funerals, fire department Installation dinners and memorial services. I'd like to say thank you to the East Meadow Fire Department, the Lido, Point Lookout Fire Department, Finns Fury, the New York Shields, the Indianapolis Firefighter's Emerald Society and the Harp & Thistle Pipes& Drums Bands for their friendship and support over the years.
